What is the ESD problem?
ESD is an electrostatic discharge that occurs when objects with different electrical potential come into contact or are brought close together. This difference leads to surface discharges as well as charge jumps on approaching objects. In the production process, this phenomenon can lead to transport damage to electronic components and components.
Conveyor belts for ESD in the electronics industry
The production process of electronic devices is inextricably linked to the transport of components, modules and all electronic systems. Most often, a conveyor belt is used for this purpose, the properties of which have a key role in solving the problem of electrostatic discharge. The use of traditional tape exposes the manufacturer to measurable losses in the form of damage to equipment and components at the production stage or, in the case of micro-damages, an increase in the number of complaints about broken devices after the sale.


ESD conveyor belts effectively minimize the risk of electrostatic discharges, which significantly reduces the number of damages.
The ESD conveyor belts we offer have a certified surface resistance at an average level of 0.020 x10E6 Ω. Other properties include high abrasion resistance on both sides of the conveyor belt as well as antistatic and cut resistance.
