The advantage of these belts is high flexibility and small rewinding diameters, as well as the possibility of obtaining very high operating speeds with relatively low own energy consumption.
An important property is dimensional stability (not hygroscopic) and good resistance to most chemicals (however limited compared to polyamide).
Limitations for the application are permissible operating temperatures not exceeding 70*C.
