Multi V-ribbed belts

The variety of belt profiles allows them to be used in a wide range of applications related not only to drive transmission, but in the case of belts with covers also as an element of transport.

Poly V-belts, also known as ribbed belts, are made of a polybutadiene-based compound as standard.

The cord of the belt is made of high-strength polyester cords or aramid fibres.

They have a wide range of applications, but will work where high linear speeds are needed with small pulley diameters.

Polyurethane micro V-ribbed belts are also available, which, despite their small dimensions, ensure efficiency in industrial multi-ribbed drives of such devices as: vacuum cleaners, washing machines, grinders, mixers, mowers, woodworking equipment, medical equipment, textile machines and others.

These belts are made of a sleeve, which we cut according to the customer's needs, depending on the required number of ribs. The lengths of poly V-belts are standardized.

Advantages of poly V-belts:

  • work on pulleys with small diameters even at high rotational speeds,

  • distribution of loads over the entire width of the belt,

  • smoothly operating drive system generating low vibrations,

  • the ability to achieve linear speeds of up to 80 [m/s],

  • high transmission ratio 1:60 (V-belts 1:20)

  • resistance to temperatures in the range from -30 to +80 [C];

  • (possibility of operation at lower temperatures and achieving high efficiency of drives),

  • increasing the transmitted power of the drive by increasing the number of ribs,

  • ISO 1813 antistatic properties
