V-belts

A V-belt is a belt used in a V-belt transmission, it has a trapezoidal cross-section and is made as an endless rim.

V-belts transmit torque from a pulley mounted on a shaft through friction between the pulley and the belt.

V-belts are standardized.

Types of V-belts

  • classic type Z, A, B, C, D, E

  • classic toothed ZX, AX, BX, CX, SPZX, SPAX, SPBX, SPCX

  • narrow-profile type SPZ, SPA, SPB, SPC

  • narrow-profile toothed type XPZ, XPA, XPB, XPC

  • combined

  • double wedge

  • wide profile belts

  • multi-ribbed belts

  • wide profile - variator belts

  • segment belts

  • open by meters

Classic V-belts type Z, A, B, C, D, E

Classic V-belts are belts without teeth. They are used for both light and heavy machines in industry and agriculture. The construction of the belt (convex top and concave sides) guarantees even load distribution.

Classic toothed V-belts ZX, AX, BX, CX, SPZX, SPAX, SPBX, SPCX

Classic toothed V-belts have a basic construction similar to classic V-belts, but they are additionally equipped with toothing. Thanks to this solution, the internal friction in the compressed layer is reduced, which translates into increased fatigue resistance of the material.

SPZ, SPA, SPB, SPC type wedge-shaped V-belts

Narrow section V-belts are used in systems with high loads. Their design means that they do not require as much space as classic belts. These belts are resistant to bending, thanks to which it is possible to use tensioners. They are also characterized by high efficiency of power transmission.

Toothed narrow section V-belts type XPZ, XPA, XPB, XPC

Narrow-profile toothed V-belts are used in systems requiring high gear ratio, high speeds or with small diameter pulleys. They are also characterized by increased bending resistance and high rated power.

Combined V-belts

This type of belt consists of individual V-belts bonded together with a covering layer. This design makes power bands highly efficient and can be used in drives with high loads and/or high speeds.

Double V-belts

As the name suggests, these belts are equipped with a V-profile on both sides. They are used in power distribution drives. Double V-belts are characterized by high flexibility and resistance to elongation.

Wide section V-belts

Wide section V-belts are primarily used in continuously variable transmissions, where high impact loads and overloads may occur. These belts are used in industry and agriculture and one of their advantages is resistance to oil and some chemicals.

Wide section belts - variator

Wide-profile - variator belts are used in stepless transmissions for smooth transmission of rotational speeds. They can be equipped with teeth that will allow you to work on small wheel diameters.

V-ribbed belts

High-performance belts with a wide range of applications in industry, household appliances and medical equipment. The elasticity of the belts is obtained thanks to the flattened ribs. This also reduces the temperature rise and improves the crack resistance of the ribs. Non-stretchable polyester cords guarantee fatigue and impact resistance.

Segment belts

Belts with an innovative, segmented construction made of high-quality composites. Thanks to their design, the segment belts guarantee virtually non-stop operation of the drive. They can be used wherever resistance to work in harsh conditions is required.

Open belts the by meteres

These are non-reinforced belts, which, after determining the appropriate length, are connected by means of thermal welding. They are characterized by a flexible structure and resistance to abrasion and light chemicals.
